2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure Rules the Outdoors

?2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure

The most exciting addition to the Toyota RAV4 lineup for 2018 is the new Adventure model designed for outdoor enthusiasts. Slotted between the XLE and SE grades, this excursion-ready vehicle is just what you need for your next cross-country trip.

When the 2018 RAV4 Adventure lands at Crown Toyota in coming weeks, it will be offered in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. The former will come with Automatic Slip Differential, while the latter will feature Dynamic Torque Control. A standard Tow Prep Package will also be included on both, complete with an upgraded radiator, transmission fluid coolers and supplemental engine oil. With the package, the Adventure will be able to tow up to 2,900 pounds with FWD and 3,500 pounds with AWD.

Unlike standard RAV4 models, the Adventure will be a bit higher off the ground, standing 10 mm taller and featuring a 6.5-in. ground clearance. It will be supported by 18-inch five-spoke black alloy wheels and will sport large over-fender flares that enhance its look. On top of these changes, the model will also don black headlight bezels, black fog lamp surround, rocker guard panels, lower valance panels, roof rails and special badging.

Inside, the Adventure gets all-weather floor mats, a leather-wrapped shift knob, carbon-fiber-like trim panels, “RAV4 Adventure” badging and a 120V/100W power outlet. The model even comes with a range of advanced safety amenities, including Lane Departure Alert, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Pre-Collision System, Pedestrian Detection and Hill-Start Assist, to keep you and your passengers secure.
