Blues lovers, here’s a show you won’t soon forget. On Thursday, June 23, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., a popular blues band will take center stage at Fletcher Park in Mt. Zion to get the crowd moving to their award-winning beats. Known as Tombstone Bullet, the band is well-known for its ability to deliver an awe-inspiring blues experience.
The band’s soloist, Mary Jo Curry, has been recognized by many in the community for her amazing stage presence as well as her personality. Named a fan favorite at the 2012 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, the band continues to be a crowd pleaser. They offer blues tunes from a wide range of genres and styles so you can bet on a one-of-a-kind show from this dynamic crew.
However, if blues music is not your thing, then you’ll definitely want to come check out some of the other bands that will be performing every Thursday night from now until July 28 as part of the 4th annual Chill on the Hill event. No need to worry about getting hungry or thirsty here either. There will be plenty of concession stands on hand ready to serve you up something tasty.
