Toyota Corolla Maintenance and Service Schedule
Your Toyota Corolla will likely need some repairs over the years due to wear and tear from regular driving. Following recommended, Toyota Corolla service intervals can help you reduce the number of repairs you experience. Still, Crown Toyota is here for you regardless of whether you need immediate repairs or a simple oil change.
How Often Is Service Needed for Your Toyota Corolla?
If you're looking for an exact Toyota Corolla maintenance schedule, we recommend starting with the information inside your owner's manual. The schedule that we've provided below is what we recommend, but a few changes may be needed depending on the trim level.
15,000-Mile Service
Your vehicle has a cooling system that controls the temperature of your engine while it's running. At your 15,000-mile appointment/inspection, we'll take a look at your cooling system to make sure you have proper levels of fluid and that connections are still looking good. Your braking system is a major component of your safety features, so we take a look at your brake pads, rotors, etc. We also address your ball joints, steering system, and exhaust system.
30,000-Mile Service
You can improve your engine's quality and efficiency by having your air filter replaced at 30,000 miles. There is also an air filter that contributes to the overall quality of your indoor cabin air. We recommend that it gets changed over as well. We recommend having your differential oil levels checked, your steering system, and having your oil changed regularly.
60,000-Mile Service
Drive belts need to be inspected to get an idea of how other vehicle areas are functioning. These belts are tied to things like your generator, air pump, alternator, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor. Transmission fluid should also be changed around 60,000-miles if we determine that the fluid's quality is compromised.
100,000-Mile Service
The Toyota Corolla is a vehicle that will hold up well to the 100,000-mile point if you take care of it properly. We'll give everything a once-over, change your oil, check the other items that we've been looking at routinely, and recommend changing your spark plugs and coolant.
