What's New For The 2020 Toyota Corolla?

For 2020, Toyota is bringing an all-new Corolla to the market. Still a practical choice, the Corolla will include the option of a new engine and a hybrid powertrain. It will be built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, which lowers the center of gravity, making it more fun to drive. Making things safer at the same time are new advanced Safety Sense features. For those who love to stay connected, Apple CarPlay compatibility is also available on the Corolla.

Which Trims & Features are Available for 2020?

The compact car comes in five different trim levels. L and LE are fairly standard trims, with L being the most basic. SE is a sport trim, and XLE and XSE are higher-end.

On the L, the car runs on 15" wheels, and it has LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, and four-way adjustable front seats. Standard features on this trim are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot, a rearview camera, and an infotainment system controlled through a touchscreen measuring seven inches.

For the next level, the LE, wheels increase to 16 inches, and the car comes with heated mirrors, cupholders in both the front and rear, remote entry, and a second USB charge port.

The SE is stylish, with 18" alloy wheels, sporty accents on the exterior, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and sport front seats. There's the option to include a sunroof on this model.

At the XLE and XSE levels, the touchscreen increases in size to eight inches, and more safety features are built in. The XLE has a virtual instrument panel, SofTex (similar to leather) upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and heated front seats. The XSE is similar, but it has power-adjustable sport seats up front along with 18" wheels in comparison with the 16" wheels on the XLE.
