What's New for the 2021 Toyota Avalon?

In 2021, the Toyota Avalon holds an honorable title among large sedans. The Toyota Avalon Hybrid is also equally as impressive in the class of hybrid sedans. The Toyota Avalon and the Avalon Hybrid both have some updates in 2021, including Android Auto becoming a standard technology. The regular Avalon now offers all-wheel drive on select trim levels, and you can get high-performance tires with the Nightshade Edition and TRD trim levels. The Avalon Hybrid gets a new battery pack for 2021 as well.

Which Features Are Available for 2021?

The 2021 Toyota Avalon family has five trim levels, while the Avalon Hybrid comes in three trims. The Avalon and Avalon Hybrid has the same base trim level called the XLE. The XLE shares the same common amenities in both. Its exterior stands out for LED lights in front and back. It also has 17-inch alloy wheels. Technology includes Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and now Android Auto. All three are accessible through the nine-inch infotainment display. The base trim also has heated seats and simulated leather upholstery.

The hybrid and regular Avalon also have the same second trim, the XSE Nightshade Edition. Black 19-inch wheels and black exterior accents are standard. The Hybrid XSE also has wireless charging and a sunroof. With the Limited, you'll upgrade to 18-inch wheels and adaptive headlights. Ambient lighting is included, and the infotainment system adds navigation. You will get a head-up display for safety and convenience as well.

Two more trims come with the Avalon, which is the Touring and the TRD. The Touring gets a sporty exhaust, larger 19-inch wheels, microsuede simulated leather seats, and chrome exhaust tips. The TRD has red accent stitching to give the interior a sporty look. It has lightweight 19-inch wheels, an aerodynamic body kit, and a sport-tuned suspension system for an athletic appearance.
