What's New For the 2021 Toyota Camry?

The 2021 Toyota Camry gets several changes for the latest year. The Camry is now offered in six trims instead of seven, with more value added at each trim level. The 2021 Camry gets some additional standard safety features making it the safest Camry yet. The Camry is also now available with a nine-inch infotainment display in addition to the standard seven-inch display.

Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?

The Camry starts with an impressive list of amenities. It gets a seven-inch user-friendly touchscreen that supports Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. The back seats have a split-folding design that opens to a cavernous trunk with ample storage space. The base-level Camry is also equipped with a large volume of advanced safety aids. The SE trim is next in line. While the base trim has 17-inch wheels, the SE trim and successive trims get 18-inch wheels instead.

The SE trim also has unique exterior accents and a sport-tuned suspension. Its interior gets some additional luxury amenities and creature comforts, including simulated leather upholstery, automatic climate control, and a leather steering wheel. The SE Nightshade includes aesthetic elements with an all-black color scheme and a rear spoiler. The XLE is the next Camry in the lineup. It adds more inside and out with LED headlights, more safety features, keyless entry, remote start, leather upholstery, a power-operated passenger's seat, and wireless charging.

The XSE is the next trim with a standard V6 engine. The XSE has larger 19-inch wheels and aerodynamic body sculpting. It also has a custom sport-tuned suspension. The TRD is the performance-oriented trim with a sportier design, sport exhaust, TRD-themed red seat belts, simulated leather, and special sport-tuned suspension.

What's Under the Hood of the Camry?

There are two gasoline engines for the 2021 Toyota Camry. The first is a four-cylinder that produces up to 203 HP on the first few trim levels. The XSE has the same engine, but its power output increases by three more HP. This engine is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The second engine, a 301 HP V6, is standard on the top trim.
