The Heritage Edition offers seats for five or eight people. It adds ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof to the list of features. The same engine powers both Land Cruiser trims. This engine is a gasoline V8 with a 5.7L capacity. The Land Cruiser's engine delivers over 380 HP and 401 LB-FT of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and it comes standard with full-time four-wheel drive.

Both Land Cruiser trims share the same advanced safety features included in the Toyota Safety Sense package. This comprehensive package includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic warning. A panoramic parking system is also included. The Toyota Land Cruiser is equipped with electronic traction control and hill descent control as well.
