What's New For the 2021 Toyota Sienna?
The Toyota Sienna minivan enters its fourth production cycle with its redesigned model for 2021. The gasoline V6 powertrain is gone, replaced by a hybrid one. In addition, all-wheel drive-unavailable in previous iterations-is now optional for maximizing road grip.
Which Features Are Available for 2021?
The 2021 Toyota Sienna is split into LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, and Platinum trim levels. Three rows of cloth-trimmed seats seat up to eight people, although you can opt for second-row captain's seats to reduce it to seven on the XLE or go with the XSE or higher to make them standard. The front includes an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and power-sliding side doors provide easy access to the third row. The XLE gains synthetic leather seat trim, front-seat heating, and four-way power adjustability on the front passenger seat. Leather seat trim and front-seat cooling appear at the Limited trim level, and only the range-topping Platinum model has a heated steering wheel and heated second-row seats.
For infotainment, the Sienna combines a six-speaker AM/FM stereo system, a trial subscription to SiriusXM Radio, Bluetooth hands-free phone calling and audio streaming, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, Amazon Alexa for virtual assistance, seven USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 9-inch touchscreen. Also standard are a power liftgate, remote keyless entry with push-button start, and tri-zone automatic climate control. Expect a power moonroof, two additional speakers, HD Radio digital tuning, hands-free power-sliding ability on the side doors, an upgrade of remote keyless entry to proximity keyless entry, and an extension of climate controls to the third-row seats at the XLE trim level. The XSE's infotainment system is transformed with a navigation system and an in-car intercom called Driver Easy Speak. Wireless device charging and a 12-speaker setup debut at the Limited trim level.

Featuring Great Performance
The 2021 Toyota Sienna combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, two electric motors for a total output of 245 horsepower. This is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission.
Toyota Sienna Safety Features
For driver assistance, Toyota provides the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite, which combines LED headlights with automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, and road sign detection, in addition to a rearview camera with rear parking sensors and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Ten airbags provide crash protection. A one-year trial subscription backs it to Safety Connect for functions such as emergency assistance, stolen vehicle locator, roadside assistance, and automatic collision notification.
The XLE gains front parking sensors (in addition to the rear parking ones) and hands-free parking assist. Exclusive to the Platinum are a head-up display and a surround-view parking camera system.
