What's New for the 2021 Toyota Tundra?

There have been a few significant changes made to the 2021 Toyota Tundra lineup. Toyota has added on the Nightshade appearance package, including several upgrades such as 20-inch wheel rims and black accents throughout. Black leather with contrast stitching is included in the interior. The Trail Special Edition is also included this year. There will be only 5000 of these models manufactured for 2021. Special features in this model only include black badging on the outside of the vehicle, a locking cargo bed storage unit, all-weather floor mats on the interior, and black upholstery.

Which Features Are Available for 2021?

If different features and packages are what you crave, you'll be happy to know that the Tundra comes with eight different trim levels. Each has its own set of features included. The limited-edition Trail Edition trim level comes with the features listed above. If you opt for the TRD Pro trim level, you get 18-inch wheels and upgraded underbody coverage that protects against corrosion and rust. The SR5 is a more affordable trim level that still comes with standard features like four-wheel drive and a modest cargo bed that's 5.5 feet in size. The top-of-the-line Platinum trim level has front tow hooks as a standard feature, upgraded 18-inch wheels, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Featuring Great Performance

The Tundra achieves 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque thanks to a 5.7-liter V8 engine with rear-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive is also an option among some of the trim levels, but it comes down to the type of cargo bed you select. A six-speed automatic transmission is also included. The TRD Pro offers upgraded shocks if you're concerned with the smoothness of your ride.
