Join the fight against ovarian, cervical and breast cancer at Come Together Let's Walk! on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Now in its fourth year, the event continues to bring together cancer survivors and other local residents who want to help raise funds for gynecological cancer programs and research. Along with one and three mile walks, there's also a three mile family fun run and several other festivities throughout the day, including educational exhibits, food, a Kids' Korner with games and family activities.
All proceeds from the event are going to a great cause, so make sure you sign up if you want to help fight the battle against gynecological cancer. Now through June 26, the cost to participate is $25 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. On the day of the event, June 28, the price is $30. Everyone who signs up will receive a free event T-shirt, but please note that they're distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and children's sizes are not available.
You may register for Come Together Let's Walk! in person on June 25-26 at Hickory Point Mall or you can sign up online or by mail. See information below.
