Now through Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, parents can enter children ages 4 to 15 in Toyota’s Dream Car Art Contest. The annual competition gives children the opportunity to express their creativity and possibly win an Apple iPad, cash, and/or a fully paid trip to Japan that includes “edutainment” programs and an official tour of a Toyota plant. The contest also promotes an interest in cars, social responsibility and design among children, some of whom could one day design and engineer the cars of the future.
Once Dream Car Art Contest submissions close, judges will select nine U.S. winners who will be announced in spring 2016. In addition to being awarded, their work will also be considered for the world contest, alongside art entries from children in more than 80 other countries. From this lot, judges will select 30 World Winners who will get to attend an awards ceremony in August 2016. The ceremony takes place in Japan and paid trips for the winners and their parents or guardians are included.
If your child would like to enter the contest, visit the Dream Car website here to find more details, official rules and the entry form.
