The Decatur Celebration’s event organizers have some additional festivities coming up that’ll keep the summer fun rolling. Free Friday-night concerts are being held at Central Park on June 26, July 10 and July 31, and at each there will be games and festival food!
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Decatur Celebration, festival coordinators and Black & Company decided that they wanted to hold a special concert series, giving locals even more fun events to look forward to this June and July. The Season of Celebration Summer Concert Series is bringing some of the most popular musical acts in the Midwest to our town, including U2 tribute band UZoo and St. Louis party-rock band Dr. Zhivegas.
A variety of different types of music means there’s something for everyone to enjoy and the best part is that all of the concerts are free! Check out the schedule below and mark your calendars!

“We plan to celebrate all summer long this year. The Season of Celebration events are perfect for co-workers and friends who want to enjoy a brew and a great band, and also for families who want to bond over live music, dancing, food and great festival fun,” states festival producer, Lori Sturgill.
