Men get out your lederhosens and women find your dirndls! The Brew Ha Ha is back this month in Decatur, offering a heady mix of craft beer tasting, genuine German food, live music and other entertainment, including a Bavarian costume contest that you’re welcome to compete in! Every year, the Brew Ha Ha festival is one of the most highly attended events in the city and the same is expected this year, so be sure to get your tickets and join the fun.
While there’s much to enjoy at the festival, the event’s main draw is craft beer tasting. Many German varieties will be available at a cash bar, plus there will be complimentary draft beer. Visitors can pair spirits with food and, as we mentioned earlier, there’s going to be delicious traditional German cuisine available that’ll go perfect with the German beers being offered.
As far as entertainment, there will be plenty. You can play numerous games and listen to music from this year’s acts, which include The Flying Dutchman and The Veggies. Additionally, you’re invited to vote for mayor candidates, including Dr. Mary Cole, Kat Smalley and Brad Wike.
If you want to attend the tent party, which is scheduled to take place in front of Madden Arts Center on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, click here to find tickets and see more event details.
