What's New for the 2019 Toyota 4Runner?

For years, the Toyota 4Runner has been one of the most popular and best-selling SUVs. The 4Runner holds more universal appeal than most SUVs in its class because it is actually designed to withstand tough off-road driving conditions.

In 2019, an update to its design and mechanical components (such as higher ground clearance and all-new TRD springs) makes it even more worthy of tackling dirt roads and challenging terrain.

While the 4Runner is tough on the outside, its interior is quite luxurious and comfortable. This is undeniably the case in the latest model year, with the 4Runner coming with a suite of new safety features and technology, such as an infotainment system with navigation and app support. Inside and out, there are just enough changes to keep the widespread appeal and help it stay competitive with other SUVs in its class.

Along with the available features, you will also be able to customize your 4Runner with a desert air intake system and a chrome-tipped exhaust. In the end, these features make the mid-size truck handle anything that come its way.

On the outside, the base model features integrated fog lights and color-keyed front and rear bumpers. The outside mirrors are conveniently heated to enhance safety. Inside, the cabin is equipped for luxury with a 6.1-inch entertainment system and optional navigation.

Starting with the second-level trim, you will get destination search and iHeartRadio available as standard amenities. An infotainment system with navigation is offered on the higher-level trims. Two 12V outlets and one 120V power outlet are standard items from the base model up. An auto-dimming rearview mirror completes the highest level 4Runner standard interior amenities.
