October is here and that means it’s time for the return of Boo at the Zoo! This month-long event held at Decatur’s very own Scovill Zoo brings a dose of Halloween fun to the park, entertaining guests of all ages. If you’re searching for something fun to do with your family this month, Boo at the Zoo is where to be. It’s running now until Oct. 30, 2016, so be sure to check it out before it’s too late!
Decatur families are guaranteed to have an incredible experience at this year’s Boo at the Zoo taking place at Scovill Zoo. During their visit, guests will guide their children to various treat stations throughout the park by following pathways lit up by Jack-o’-lanterns. Once the kids have picked up all their goodies, they’ll have the chance to take a spin on the Endangered Species Carousel or ride the family-fun Fright Night Express! Attendees will also be able to view animal exhibits during their visit, completing their Boo at the Zoo experience.
Admission for Boo at the Zoo is $4.75 for those collecting treats and $3.75 for individuals who won’t be receiving treats. Children under 2 get in free, but no treats will be provided. An additional fee is required for train and carousel rides. Tickets for the zoo can be purchased at the gate.
