Get a taste of Decatur by participating in one of the downtown area’s food tours. Featuring six premier eateries, you’ll have the chance to sample award-winning cuisine from different cultures and learn interesting facts about the city throughout the 3-hour tour.
Held each Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m., Downtown Decatur Food Tours are a popular attraction for locals and out-of-towners. It’s the best way to taste exceptional selections from the city’s top family-owned eateries, which offer authentic Italian, Korean and Latin cuisine. Along the way, attendees will also stop at well-known landmarks in the city, including the famed “Valentine” sculpture. Guests will even have the chance to locate each of the “Secret Doors” located in the downtown area.
Open to all age groups, the entire tour spans 1.5 miles and includes stops at Calle Latina, Rocket Fizz, Taiyo, Cakes & Ale Café, Splash of Olive and Sapori di Napoli. If you’d like to register for a spot on an upcoming tour, you can do so online. Admission is $65 for adults and $5 for children.
