Specs at a Glance

The 2021 Toyota Camry remains one of America’s favorite family sedans. Bulletproof reliability and great everyday comfort make the Camry hard to beat. Let’s take a look at how the LE and XSE trims compare.

Performance

The Camry LE is equipped with a 2.5-liter, Dynamic Force four-cylinder engine. It develops 202 horsepower, which ensures a strong and efficient performance. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to the wheels. While front-wheel drive comes standard, all-wheel drive is available as an option.

Although the Camry XSE comes standard with the same four-cylinder engine, a dual-outlet exhaust bumps output to 206 horsepower. If you demand even quicker acceleration, step up to the XSE trim’s optional V6 engine. It cranks out an exciting 301 horsepower. To further enhance handling, Toyota equips the XSE trim with a sports-tuned suspension. Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes enable you to adjust the sedan’s level of responsiveness.

Appearance

The entry-level Camry LE has an attractive appearance. LED projector headlights and a set of 17-inch alloy wheels come standard. Drivers seeking a racier look will love the Camry XSE. Dual exhausts with quad chrome tips and larger 19-inch allow wheels to help the Camry XSE to make a bold statement. On the XSE trim’s list of options is a Black Metallic roof.

Features

Few entry-level models come loaded with as many standard features as the Camry LE. Toyota’s user-friendly Entune infotainment system features a 7.0-inch color touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. Everyone in your family can take advantage of the car’s Wi-Fi hotspot. Meanwhile, Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ equips the sedan with several advanced safety technologies.

Heated sport seats and a sport steering wheel help give the leather-appointed Camry XSE’s interior an exciting atmosphere. Additional safety features, such as blind-spot monitoring and dynamic radar cruise control, further aid your ability to avoid danger. Other goodies include an upgraded backup camera, an electronic parking brake, and three USB ports.
