On April 1st, Toyota couldn't resist posting this message on Twitter and Facebook. They even attached a sketch of the supposed new model and added the hashtag #broughtitback. Most realized it was a joke, while others replied asking Toyota to reintroduce another highly missed model. Can you guess which one? Scroll down to find out and see what some of their social media followers had to say!

Although the iconic 4-cylinder Tercel is one of the brand's all-time classics, many of Toyota's Twitter and Facebook fans showed their love for another one of the automaker's legendary cars on April Fools' Day - the sporty two-door Supra. From 1978 to 2002, Supra was one of Toyota's most popular models. It even enjoyed some time in the spotlight, making appearances in video games, music videos and movies like "Twins" with Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
This year, Toyota submitted an application to renew the Supra trademark, which leaves us wondering if it will soon receive a successor. Over the past few years, there have been reports that Toyota could possibly introduce a replacement based on the Toyota FT-HS (Future Toyota-Hybrid Sport) concept from 2007 or the FT-1 concept that was just revealed at the 2014 North American International Auto Show. If the rumors are true, we can't wait to see a new car based on the Supra at Crown Toyota!
