Toyota Avalon to be Discontinued for 2023

America's Beloved mid-sized sedan to be discontinued in 2023

As of August 2022, Toyota had decided to discontinue production of the most beloved mid-sized sedan in America, the Toyota Avalon.

Recently, many online car listing sites have been listing fewer than 70 for sale or in stock across all the dealerships in America. There are undoubtedly even fewer on the market now in November 2022. The Avalon has already sold out at most dealerships since discontinuation was announced in August. Trying to find this elite hybrid vehicle at a discounted price now is an insurmountable task.

The Toyota Avolon has been considered the best sedan in America since 2020, and for a good reason. The Avalon packs about three hundred and one horsepower and races from nill to sixty miles per hour in just six seconds. It also boasts an impressive 44 miles per gallon.

The people who have driven these Toyota Avolons absolutely love them. One study asked Avolon owners whether or not they'd keep their Avolon or get a new car if money was of no concern; 88% of participants said that they would keep their Avalon. To replace the Avalon is to fill shoes the size of a boat. Is there a vehicle out there that is up to such a task?

Overseas far to the west of America, on an island country called Japan, Toyota sells a remarkably similar sedan that has been a best seller in Japan since the 1950s. This car is known as the Toyota Crown, and now the Crown has finally sailed overseas east to the United States of America, where it has a mission; a mission to replace the adored Avalon. The Crown is a lifted hybrid sedan, much like the Avalon. It has 340 horsepower, is all-wheel drive, and gets around 38 miles to the gallon.

If you're wondering whether or not the Crown can replace the Avalon, Contact us or visit our Toyota dealership and we'll be happy to answer your questions. We'll able to tell you everything you need to know about the Avalon and the Crown to come to your own conclusion.
