Toyota's pickup truck commercials are far different in Asia, as proven by a recent Wakudoki dance-ver-tisement that nearly broke the Internet. In America, we get king-of-the-ranch, heavy-duty workhorse ads when Toyota wants to promote one of its trucks, but apparently Gangnam Style-inspired spots are all the rage across the Pacific. Luckily for us, being separated by a vast ocean hasn't stopped Wakudoki from gaining popularity here in the states.

For the U.S., we understand that promoting the off-road and utilitarian characteristics of Toyota's truck lineup makes sense. Still, every once in a while we wouldn't mind seeing one of these ads swapped out for something akin to Wakudoki, which feels like a twist on "What Does the Fox Say" and "Night at the Roxbury." It may not have a logical storyline, but its anthropomorphic dancing gorilla and crew of business men, who are in the middle of the jungle for no apparent reason, are thoroughly entertaining.

Regarding the commercial, which was created by the Dentsu Aegis agency, Adweek wrote an article titled, "Japanese Toyota Ad with Dancing Gorilla is so Preposterous, It's Actually Great. Just try to look away." And that pretty much sums it up. Press play now and get ready to be amazed. We promise this'll be the best two minutes of your day!
