It was a wild ride, and a fun one, when Disney's Muppets and actor Terry Crews embarked on an adventure in the new 2014 Toyota Highlander commercial that aired during Super Bowl XLVIII. If you didn't have a chance to catch the spot, watch it now and find out details about its making. As you can imagine, when the Muppets come along for a ride, there's sure to be lots of laughs!

Toyota's collaboration with Disney offers a unique blend of Muppets mayhem and "Let's Go Places" attitude, while celebrating the launch of the all-new Highlander and exciting upcoming feature film "Muppets Most Wanted," which is scheduled to debut on March 21. Fun ensues as the Muppets borrow a Toyota Highlander from Crews' character and aim to teach him about "unborifying" his life. The 60-second spot features comical shenanigans, dancing and singing, and shows viewers that the Highlander is both fun and functional. However, while it offers room for up to eight passengers and their belongings, "it ain't got no room for boring," as sung by the Muppets in an original song.

To up the fun, the Muppets gang posted real-time updates on Twitter when they were headed to the Super Bowl, where the commercial titled "Joyride" aired for the first time on Sunday, Feb. 2. Regarding the collaboration, John Hollis, Vice President of Toyota Division Marketing stated, "We all grew up with Kermit and the Muppets, and that makes Toyota's collaboration with Disney very special for us. The two brands share a focus on delighting guests, and this allows us to take them along on a fun ride."

Crews, a former NFL player and current star of the Golden Globe-winning television show "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," was also excited about the collaboration, stating: "It's truly an honor to be a part of this wild ride with Toyota and the Muppets ... Be prepared for some laughs on Game Day." And he was right. Check out the video above and we dare you to try not to laugh along with Animal, Gonzo and the whole Muppets troop.
