LATINO Magazine has released their annual list of the top 100 companies for Latinos, and we’re proud to reveal that Toyota officially made the cut. This year marks the fifth consecutive time Toyota has made the coveted list, which honors companies that support the Latino community.
Toyota has long been known for developing some of the safest cars on the market, and if you need any proof regarding this claim, just take a look at the brand’s collection of Top Safety Pick+ awards. A total of five 2017 Toyota models earned the coveted rating this year, which is given out by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Toyota took home multiple awards at a recent R&D Magazine event honoring the year’s top 100 innovations in global research and development space. The company was the most awarded automaker, taking home three accolades for innovative technology advancements.
After blowing through nearly 100 miles of unforgiving stages at the New England Forest Rally, Ryan Millen and his 2016 Toyota RAV4 SE were able to snag a second-place win in the 2WD Class. The victory puts Millen and co-driver, Christina Fate, in the running for the championship, with just two races left.
The 2016 Toyota Sienna has been named as one of the 10 best family cars of the year, as well as the winner in the Best Minivan category by Edmunds.com and Parent’s magazine. Safety, comfort and capacity, fuel efficiency, and interior and exterior design were just some of the categories that both publications looked at when ranking the Toyota Sienna.
Ryan Millen and his 2016 Toyota RAV4 SE have something else to boast about for 2016. The team recently took second place at the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally – a rally that is widely known as one of the fastest and most dangerous rally races in the U.S.
The 2016 Toyota RAV4 is proving its capabilities in a big way. It recently finished first in the 2WD Class at the annual Olympus Rally in Shelton, Washington. Driven by well-known off-road racer, Ryan Millen, the SUV pulled ahead of all but four 4WD competitors, supporting the idea that big things really can come in small packages.
Toyota’s hydrogen-fuel cell Mirai is taking the automaker’s green efforts to new heights. Mirai was recently crowned as the 2016 World Green Car at the New York International Auto Show.
