EVgo Inc. has joined forces with Toyota to open new fast-charging stations in Baldwin Park and Sacramento, California. This initiative is part of Toyota's broader ""Empact" program, which aims to improve charging access in underserved communities. These new stations feature powerful 350kW chargers and are designed with affordability in mind. Conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers, each station can accommodate up to eight vehicles at once.
This summer, Toyota announced an investment in the EV charging network IONNA to help establish a high-powered charging infrastructure for battery electric vehicles across North America. Toyota joins six other automobile manufacturers in supporting IONNA, aiming to enhance the accessibility of charging stations for electric vehicle owners.
